When the Etiquette Grrls launched EtiquetteGrrls.com in January 2000, we had no idea the site would grow to have such great popularity. Dear Readers, there are no words to express our Undying Gratitude. But as the years have passed, we found that we were receiving so many questions outside the scope of the original idea of EtiquetteGrrls.com, that it became abundantly clear that Something Needed to Be Done. The answer? A second site, of course! Hence, the birth of EtiquetteGrrlStyle.com.

What is Etiquette Grrl Style? Perhaps it is best described by What It Is Not. It is not about Having the Most Toys. It is not about Living Large. It most certainly is not about being An Elitist Snob. Rather, it’s about being not just Well-mannered, but Well-read. It’s about being a Good Conversationalist. It’s about being Well-rounded. It’s about looking great and feeling great on A Dime. To paraphase the marvelous Cole Porter, it’s a Waldorf salad, it’s a Berlin ballad, it’s the nimble tread of the feet of Fred Astaire, it’s an O'Neill drama, it’s Whistler's mama, it’s camembert! (Not to be overly modest, or anything...)

EtiquetteGrrlStyle.com will provide you, Dear Reader, with information on everything from Great Books to Great Fashion to Great Cooking to Great Cocktails. As with EtiquetteGrrls.com, we’ll answer as many of your questions as we can, in addition to providing you with information on The Basics. We hope you’ll find this new site useful, and most of all, enjoy it as much as you’ve enjoyed EtiquetteGrrls.com in the past.

EtiquetteGrrlStyle is operated solely by Honore McDonough Ervin, aka “EGH,” who left EGs.com in March 2003 in order to concentrate on EGStyle.com.
